SICK yobs in Penrith have been getting kicks out of throttling and shaving pet cats, police have revealed.
Police confirmed yesterday that they are investigating two bizarre torture incidents in which cats returned home with large chunks of fur missing and noose marks.
The cats are from the Wetheriggs area of the town. Police are warning owners to be vigilant amid growing fears that the torturers may strike again.
