A sickening act of animal cruelty in Australia has caused national outrage after three youths were caught tormenting an eight-week-old kitten on CCTV.
Two youths have been charged with aggravated cruelty after they were caught stoning and kicking the kitten at a Sydney railway station.
On camera, the boys are seen kicking and throwing rocks at the animal, before one of the them rides his bike over it. Finally, the kitten staggers to the edge of the platform, where it's mercilessly pushed over the edge
The kitten, named Shelley after one of the police officers who saved her, is recuperating after two operations to heal broken bones and internal injuries.
A third teenager, also aged 15, was questioned but released without charge.
